What information do we collect?
We collect your email address for sign-in; your name and phone number when you post a job or make a transporter quote; details about the item and route; quote details; job completion status; ratings and optional feedback left by the client or selected transporter; and records needed to confirm the £9.99 introduction payment. Stripe processes card details on its secure checkout page; Anyway does not receive or store full card numbers.
Why do we use it?
We use this information to sign you in, show jobs and quotes to the relevant marketplace users, arrange an introduction after the client accepts a quote and pays the fee, process and record payments, send service emails, and protect the service against misuse. Who do we share it with?
Before an introduction fee is paid, job contact details are kept private from transporters. After the client accepts a quote and pays the one-time fee, we share the client’s and chosen transporter’s contact details with each other so they can arrange the delivery. Ratings and written feedback are public to people viewing Anyway. They appear under a stable, pseudonymous profile label linked to the account; sign-in email addresses and contact details are not displayed as part of a profile. We also use Cloudflare to host the site and store marketplace records, Resend to send service emails, and Stripe to take the introduction fee. How long do we keep information?
Account, job, quote, and contact records are kept only while needed to provide the service and handle reports. Once a job is completed or cancelled, related customer and marketplace details are deleted or anonymised within 3 months, unless a longer period is needed to resolve a complaint or legal claim. Ratings and written feedback remain attached to the public profile while the account exists; if the account is closed, its feedback is removed or anonymised within 3 months, subject to legal requirements. Accounting records are kept for 3 years from the date they are made. If any records must be kept as VAT records, the applicable statutory period may be longer (generally 6 years). You can request access, correction, or deletion by contacting support@anyway.me.uk.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information, or raise a concern about how we use it, by emailing support@anyway.me.uk. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies and security
Anyway uses a strictly necessary, secure sign-in cookie to keep your session active. We do not use advertising cookies in this version. We take steps to restrict access to account and contact information and reveal contact details only after a successful payment confirmation.
